JAPAN DOME TOUR X!! So I finally went to their last day concert yesterday (141123). Initially I didn't really planned to go coz they don't have a new album yet, but so it happened that my JVIP friends have some extra ticket and they offered it to me. Pure luck. Kkkk. \(^_^)/ \(^_^)/
Phewww...It's been a long time!! (err..months actually). Wow...My body ached so much and I couldn't wake up this morning! I don't think I can endure a 3-hours standing and jumping to their songs anymore..ahjumma, keman juseyo!! (stop already aunty...) (-_-)(-_-)
Here's my rough fan account. So many moments, but my memory failed me. Must be due to the band music was way tooooo loud! I couldn't think right. (-_-)

Update:
This might be my last Bigbang's concert in Japan. I'm still looking for tickets for JDT-X in Tokyo Dome on the 27-Dec, but it's already sold out like freaking SOLD-OUT!! Huhuhu..Oh well. It's been a wonderful experience, this past 2 years in Japan. I think it's gonna be fine.
Lately I find it really hard to keep on being a VIP. I see on twitter everyday VIP nowadays really like to compete with who took the best concert picture, who tweet the best fan account, the received most fan service, who purchased the most merchandize, and oh the Bigbang's junior fanwar (cough-winner-cough-iKon-cough-BOBBY-cough). I'm like, demm do we have to compete in everything even though we like the same thing/person??? It's freaking crazy! It takes away the joy of being a normal VIP like the good old time. The VIP who's always broke, who always shares link to free download mp3/concert DVD, the VIP who buys 2nd hand but timeless BB merchandize, yes that kind of VIP. I really missed those days where we share everything, not buy everything! Come on, think of it! It's a freaking money-consuming hobby ever! Their concert ticket itself is ridiculously more expensive than other Japan artist, their merchandize changes with every concert, you always have to buy something to get something (rehearsal pass, send-off pass, fan meeting, etc..). Let's not start with their solo activities..OMG...
I too, indulged in their concerts in Japan but not their merchandize. Well, I'm a working adult but how the hell did those young VIP could afford to go to every Bigbang concert all around the world?? And their merchandize. OMG. It's really expensive guys! Not to forget events like MAMA, GDA, well anything related to Bigbang. Imagine VIP who comes from not so well-off family, or a young adult struggling to make a living would feel not to be able to experience all of these 'fan thingy'. If I am one of them, I would feel so so small. Huhuhu...
Okay, I'm being emotional a bit. But this new fandom culture really made me think hard. I just want to enjoy their music, without stress, without competing. I guess I am really becoming an ahjumma.. (-_-)
salam,
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled upon your site, while searching for how to get the rehearsal pass to Big bang concert :) Can you tell me more about it? I'm going to their concert in January. Will be my first japan concert and i'm going alone.. LOL.. need to be adventurous once in while :) Oh and I'm a malaysian too. agreed with what you said about the current fandom :(
it's sad why ppl can just have fun with the music and stop all the 'fandom-war'
Wslm Liyana,
ReplyDeleteWaddup VIP!!! ^b^....Firstly, thank you for reading my humble blog. Don't worry, going alone to Japan concert is not a big problem. Unfortunately, I am really an ahjumma VIP (read: no hassle - go to concert - go back home), that means I don't really know "all the other part" than going to the concert itself. Here's what I know; the rehearsal pass will be released on the concert day itself. It is based on lucky draw. To be eligible for the lucky draw, you need to buy 1 of the CD/DVD that they sell on that day and 1 purchase you are entitle for 1 lucky draw. This apply to rehearsal pass/send off pass, etc. You have to be at the venue SUPER EARLY in the morning to queue at the rehearsal pass section (normally near the goodies area).
I've only tried once and didn't get it. I bought GD's Concert DVD which I don't even need!! So much of milking VIP's money!! Hahaha...Anywho, better be there early and asked around (though it might be confusing if you don't know Japanese). Just try it and enjoy the experience. Good luck!
Thank you so much for your reply. No worries I'm an ahjumma my self. Probably just trying my luck on 1 of the 3 days concert. Just for experience lol.
ReplyDeleteLet see if i'm in the mood to q up.
Thanks again :)
Hello! I really want to watch a concert of them in Japan since they come there often! Hahahaha. Anyway, me and my friend are planning to watch a show for the new tour soon and I just wanna ask how much is the price range of the tickets? And will it be difficult to watch if we don't have a JVIP companion since it will be our first time?
ReplyDeleteI hope you will respond. Thank you very much! :)
Hi Steph! Thank you reading my blog..^^. I know it's that TIME of the year again when I started to get enquiries from VIPz. LOL!
DeleteThe price for Japan dome concert is standard regardless of the seating location. Tix is 9,800yen, after you add the tax & processing fees it will not cost more than 11,000yen. However, it is not easy to get ticket. Avex Japan will open the sales for official JVIP first, after a month (if I'm not mistaken) they will open sales for public via various websites in Japan such as Lawson, Yahoo Japan, A-Ticket and many more. Those outside Japan have difficulties to buy tix online as there is no English version and you must also have Japan address for registration. Your other choice is buy from tix reseller. Some reseller are very bad, they can really markup the tix price like crazy! If you have a friend in Japan, maybe you can ask them to help buy for you. After you managed to book the tix online, you must pay within 2 weeks and Avex will only post (yes POST!) then actual tix to your registered address 2 weeks before the concert date. It's quite troublesome, but worth it!
But if you already managed to get the tix, going to the concert is easy breazy! Just be there early if you wanna try your luck for rehearsal pass or goodies. If you just wanna enjoy the concert, arrive 30min before concert start is more than enough. They system in Japan Dome concert is superb! There will be many foreign VIP at the venue you won't feel weird at all. LOL! The staff are very helpful too. Much better compared to the one I've been before in South Korea. But I suggest you to settle your things (eat lunch, toilet break, store your goods, etc) before entering the venue coz there'll be 20-30 thousands of people depending on each venue.
The first time I went to BB Japan Dome concert, I went alone, lost my way for 10-15mins, but end up making friends with so many new VIP! Dun worry too much and good luck!!
Nice post. thanks for the shared it with us. Cold Washed Pet Flakes
ReplyDeleteThank u so much for sharing! It's so much works to get ticket in Japan :( and the price is the same for all seat? I'm confused.. then I guess all is good for viewing :)
